My wife, son and I were faced with one of life's most challenging moments where we were involved in a road accident and sustained traumatic injuries. My wife had severe head injuries, 9 ribs fracture, pelvis bones fracture and punctured lungs and some damage to liver too in the accident . She was in ICU with ventilator for a very long time in hospital .Total duration in hospital was 27 days.
In the midst of this turmoil, we were fortunate to have connected with Caroline Health Care, the home nursing agency which the doctor in Venkateshwar hospital had advised , since recovery of patients in home is better , but it needs a very good agency. From the very first interaction, they demonstrated not only professionalism but also genuine compassion and dedication to my wife's recovery. We had also evaluated other MNC agency but the personal touch was missing.
The team comprising of a Nurse and a GDA were stationed 24x7 at our home, supported by an ex AIIMS trauma specialist and a nursing supervisor. They went above and beyond to ensure that my wife received the highest standard of care. They provided skilled nursing services tailored to her specific needs, addressing both her physical and emotional well-being.
Their expertise in managing trauma cases was evident, and they instilled confidence in us during a time of uncertainty. This was backed up by excellent physiotherapy and rehabilitation of the patient who was discharged on tubes to home ( trachestomy, ryle food pipe, body waste bag)
